P&C
Father’s Day is nearly here, and what better way to celebrate than with our sizzling Brekkie BBQ for all the awesome GRPS dads and great blokes!
We’d love some superstar volunteers (mums, we’re looking at you!) to help flip a few snags and keep the tongs moving. Volunteer https://volunteersignup.org/RBX87.
Remember, everyone needs a ticket to eat and drink— and purchasing early helps the P&C plan catering. Grab yours early so we can fire up the grill with plenty to go around. Get your tickets https://events.humanitix.com/father-s-and-great-blokes-day-2025.
As a reminder, this is a P&C run event so teachers will not be supervising children before 9am. Parents are politely asked to look after their children during this event.
Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon of fun on Saturday 30 September at our Major Family Fundraiser Movie Night!
Kids can enjoy activities like a silent disco, face painting, handball, and beading stations before feasting on a delicious BBQ. Then, settle in under the stars with your family and friends to watch Minecraft—and don’t forget to come dressed in your best Minecraft-inspired costumes for a chance to win prizes!
This is a pre-order only event, and tickets close on 14 September 2025—so don’t wait! Grab your entry and food tickets here: GRPS Major Family Fundraiser Movie Night.
More details are available on the event page, and every dollar raised goes towards improving our children’s playground equipment. Let’s come together as a community to make it a night to remember!
Last Thursday, Glenmore Road Public School was proudly represented at the Woollahra Council Grant Award Ceremony. Madeline Strachan, Environment Club Leader, accepted a $7,500 Environment Grant on behalf of the GRPS P&C.
The award, presented by Woollahra Mayor Sarah Dixson, will fund the installation of solar panels on our school library roof to deliver clean, green energy. This exciting project is planned for completion by June 2026, thanks to the collaboration between the P&C, Woollahra Council and our Principal.

P&C Plant Donations
The P&C are seeking donations from the GRPS community to purchase plants. We want to green up our school grounds at the next Working Bee on Sunday 14th September.
There are several garden beds and empty planter boxes that could easily be transformed with more plants and a bit of love. Not only do we need some more plants, we also need fertiliser and quality topsoil for all our garden spaces.
Spring is the perfect time to get busy in the garden. So, if you can help out by donating some money and/or your time (on 14 Sept) it would be greatly appreciated.
Every donation helps! Please donate here.
Thank you in advance for your support of the P&C.
Larissa Maher, GRPS P&C President
