Ready, Set, Thrive: Welcome Back to an Exciting Term 3!
As we embark on Term 3, I want to extend a warm welcome back to each of you. I hope you all had a restful and rejuvenating break, filled with moments of joy and relaxation.
This term promises to be an exciting one, filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and connection. We have a variety of engaging activities and programs planned, aimed at enhancing our students' educational experience and fostering a strong sense of community within our school.
I encourage everyone to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Let’s work together to create a supportive environment where every student can thrive. Your dedication and enthusiasm are vital as we continue on this journey of learning and discovery.
Here’s to a successful Term 3!
Safety First: Smooth Sailing at Kiss and Drop
As we continue to prioritise the safety and well-being of our students during drop-off and pick-up times, we kindly ask for your cooperation with our afternoon Kiss and Drop procedures. To ensure a smooth and efficient flow of traffic, we encourage all parents and carers to remain in their vehicles while dropping off or picking up your children. This small action can make a big difference in maintaining a safe environment for everyone.
Additionally, we would like to remind you to avoid making three-point turns in the middle of the road, particularly on the crest of the hill. This practice can create dangerous situations for our students and other drivers.
Thank you for your understanding and support in keeping our school community safe. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
The final countdown to Wakakirri is here, and excitement is in the air! As we approach this much-anticipated event, our students have been working tirelessly to perfect their performances and showcase their incredible talents. We can’t wait to see their hard work and creativity come to life on stage.
If you unfortunately missed out on tickets, don’t worry! We will be putting on a special school performance, and more details will be coming soon.

Twirl and Shine: Celebrating Our K-2 Dance Concert Success
We are thrilled to share that our K-2 Dance Concert held on the last day of Term 2 was an outstanding success! Both sessions had the hall filled to capacity, creating an electric atmosphere as our young performers dazzled the audience with their energy, enthusiasm and creativity. It was heartwarming to see the support from families and friends, who cheered on our students as they showcased their hard work and dedication.
A special thanks to Angela Lyris, our Director, for taking the time out of her busy schedule to join us and celebrate this special occasion. We also want to extend our gratitude to Justin, our Creative Director, for his exceptional choreography and vision that brought the performances to life. Additionally, a heartfelt thank you to our talented teachers and staff for their guidance and encouragement, as well as everyone who contributed to making this event possible. We look forward to more wonderful performances in the future!

Cheers to Our Champions: A Big Thank You to Our Parent Volunteers
I want to take a moment to express my immense gratitude to our wonderful parent volunteers who generously dedicated their time to cook and serve lunch at the Athletics Carnival last week. Your hard work and commitment played a vital role in making the event a success.
A special shout-out also goes to everyone else who lent a helping hand, whether in preparation, setup, or cleanup. Your teamwork exemplifies the spirit of our school community.

NCCD Data Submission: Ensuring Inclusive Education for All Students
This week, we are pleased to inform you that we have finalised and submitted our Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) data. The NCCD is an important annual initiative that involves all Australian schools in a comprehensive count of students with disabilities.
The primary aim of the NCCD is to provide the Australian Government with valuable insights into the number of students with disabilities across our schools, as well as the types of adjustments they require to access and participate in education on the same basis as their peers. This data is crucial in ensuring that all students receive the support they need to thrive in their educational journey.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed. Thank you for your ongoing support as we work towards achieving this important goal. Please click here for more information.
