We continued to have Wakakirri rehearsals this morning, and again it was a tremendous success! A big thank you to all the students who arrived on time and participated wholeheartedly in the process. Your enthusiasm and commitment are truly commendable. We would also like to express our gratitude to the teachers for dedicating their time and effort to provide this wonderful opportunity for our students. We look forward to seeing everyone’s hard work come to life!
Mothers & Significant Others Breakfast
We would like to extend a huge thank you to the P&C for organising the recent Mothers & Significant Others Breakfast event last Friday morning. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate the incredible women in our lives. The event was filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments, making it a memorable occasion for all attendees.

Suggestion Box
Ms Baptist: What do you love most about GRPS and your leadership role?
Jasper: All the people and the teachers who are nice and kind make it a really awesome school! I really enjoy the opportunity to lead and implement initiatives like the Suggestion Box that could help make GRPS an even better place!
Ms Baptist: Speaking of the Suggestion Box, how did you come up with this idea?
Jasper: Last year in my captaincy speech, I made a promise to create a way in which students would be able to share ideas they believe would make the school better! This Suggestion Box is that promise, as I know students have a lot of great ideas they want to share and I think it will ensure our school continues to get better!
The suggestion box will be located in Ms Baptist’s office, we encourage all students to drop by and leave their suggestions in the box.
Stage 3 Multicultural Public Speaking Competition
This competition encourages primary school students to explore ideas of multiculturalism in Australia while they practise their public speaking skills and improve their confidence. Today our Stage 3 students showcased their incredible talent and creativity as they shared their unique perspectives on various Multicultural cultural topics.
Congratulations to all participants for their outstanding performances and the courage they displayed in addressing the audience.
A special shout-out to our winners, Darcy R and Florencia LT, both impressed with their eloquence and passion.

Walk Safely to School Day - Friday 16 May
Our school will participate in Walk Safely to School Day this Friday! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to engage in healthy habits and promote road safety.
Students who walk to school will be greeted at the gate by our SRC members from 9:00am, and will receive a special Walk Safely to School tattoo and a piece of fruit to celebrate their healthy start to the day.
If walking all the way from home isn't possible, we encourage families to park a few streets away and walk the remainder of the way to school together.
Let’s make this day a fun and active celebration!
