I hope this message finds you well. I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation for the incredibly warm welcome I have received since stepping into the role of relieving principal at Glenmore Road Public School. It has been an absolute pleasure to be embraced by both the staff and students, and it has been wonderful to be part of such a vibrant school community.
This week, I have had the opportunity to spend time in classrooms and meet many of the wonderful students here at Glenmore Road. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the enthusiasm for learning that fills every corner of the school. It is abundantly clear that Glenmore Road is a place where both students and staff are committed to making the most of every opportunity for growth and development. I have been particularly touched by the kindness of the students who have taken the time to introduce themselves to me in the playground and offer their assistance in helping me find my way around the school.
I am looking forward to welcoming the Year 5 and 6 students back to school tomorrow after what I’m sure was a fantastic and memorable time at camp. I can’t wait to hear all about their adventures, the experiences they’ve shared, and the lessons they’ve learned during their time away. I know these moments will have created lasting memories and a sense of accomplishment, and I’m excited to see the energy and enthusiasm they’ll bring back to the school community.
In closing, although my time here is brief, lasting only for the remainder of this week, I look forward to continuing to support the great work happening across the school.
Wishing you all a wonderful remainder of the week!
