As they do every year, teachers will be working closely with each other and their students to provide relevant and engaging lessons, thus allowing all students to maximise their potential, academically, emotionally and socially. Class organisation and routines will be discussed at our upcoming Meet The Teacher evenings. The organisation of these evenings is below.
Classes for 2025
All classes are now working with their class teacher. It is very important to recognise that it is a very complex and time-consuming task to create classes, with the priority being to produce the best educational outcomes for all students. Congratulations to our students who are incredibly settled and working together as learning partners, creating positive learning environments across the school.
Our 'Senior Model' of teaching continues this year where senior class students have a ‘home’ teacher, and a teacher for literacy and maths groups that will operate across the stage. Students will also spend time learning with each of the senior teachers for geography, history, science, music and STEM.
Our classes for 2025 and teachers are as follows:
K-6 Support Teacher - Rachel Clerkin (Mon, Tues, Weds & Fri)
I am very much looking forward to seeing our parents and the school community coming together to learn about the year ahead and how we can all support our students.
Please be aware that Meet the Teacher Evenings are intended for adults only and there is no playground supervision at these times. For safety reasons, children are not to be left unsupervised in the playground. However, the school has worked closely with The Cottage, and they have reserved limited spaces for families requesting supervision to attend meetings. Please contact the school office prior to the day if you wish to take up this opportunity of free supervision.

Summer Holiday Program Wrap-Up!
We’ve had quite the summer at The Cottage! Our program was packed with fun, adventure, and new experiences to keep the kids going during the break!
Incursions brought excitement to our centre, with Sensei Daniel of Trifu Dojo leading a karate session, turning every Cottage Kid into a Karate Kid! Magician Peter Wood left both children AND staff in awe of his tricks!
Excursions were all the rage—from bouncing at Action 360 Park, catching waves at URBN Surf, the thrill rides at Luna Park, enjoying the views at Sydney Tower, and watching Mufasa on the big BIG screen at IMAX.
Themed Days gave us a taste of the world! We explored international cuisine with French, Italian, Argentinian, and Spanish Days, where the children got hands-on experience making (and tasting!) delicious cultural dishes.
Other Fun Days were all about exploring and and staying cool! Our Pirate Scavenger Hunt had our little mateys making pirate maps and searching for hidden treasures over the school, while Water Days were filled with waterslides, the Cottage’s slip’n’slide, and water games, making the summer heat much more enjoyable!
A huge thank you to all our families for joining in the fun and making it all possible! We can't wait to see what the next Vacation Care will bring.
2025 Kindy Offer
Each new kindy is entitled to 2 FREE Cottage sessions! After you make your next two bookings, we will apply a 100% discount. If you would like to redeem this offer, please send us an email once you’ve booked in to ensure the discount gets applied!

We hope you LOVE everything we have achieved over the holidays - the hall is finished, the shade is up and the rainforest has some amazing play equipment.
GRPS needs a functioning P&C to continue the efforts of our team, to ensure P&C raised funds stay at GRPS and for The Cottage to continue. Without a P&C, all our funds get returned to DoE and The Cottage goes out to tender.

Wanting to offload that old piano or sofa? Do you wish to notify parents of a not-for-profit community event? Do you want to acknowledge your child’s Saturday sport’s achievements? These items can now be included in the Glenmore Community Notices. Notices must be received by 4pm Monday of each week for inclusion in Wednesday’s Community Notices. Unfortunately we cannot advertise any for-profit businesses in our community notices. Email sarah.morrison11@det.nsw.edu.au for more information.
The competition is run by ESCPSNA (Eastern Suburbs Combined Primary Schools Netball Association).
The season runs from 3.5.2025 to 20.9.2025.
All games are played on Saturday at the Waverley courts.
GRPS teams will train one morning before school at the school courts.
Team numbers are limited. So please let me know ASAP if you would like to join.
We need to confirm team and player numbers soon to secure our place in the competition.
Only new players need to respond - no experience necessary!
