Thank You to Our Amazing Working Bee Volunteers
A huge thank you to everyone who attended the working bee on Sunday – together, we accomplished so much and made a real difference to our school grounds! Your time, energy, and community spirit are truly appreciated.
A special shout out to Larissa and Aleesha for all the incredible pre-work they did to ensure the day ran smoothly and efficiently. We couldn’t have done it without your dedication and organisation!
Thanks again to everyone who pitched in – Glenmore Road Public School is lucky to have such a wonderful community.
A Magical Moment at GRPS: Our First 'mock' Wedding!Last week, Glenmore Road Public School had the joy of hosting our very first wedding on school grounds! Miss Bell and her soon-to-be husband celebrated their beautiful garden ceremony right here at school. Our kindy students were thrilled to witness the special moment and enjoyed a delightful outdoor reception complete with plenty of fairy bread—true Glenmore Road style!
We wish Miss Bell all the very best for her upcoming wedding day and a lifetime of happiness.
And if you’re wondering… should you wish to inquire about booking a future wedding at Glenmore Road, be warned: bookings for 2026 are already filling fast!
We recently held the public speaking finals for Early Stage 1 and Stage 3—congratulations to all our fantastic finalists for their confident and inspiring speeches! Every finalist did an amazing job, and we are so proud of each student’s effort and courage.
A special shout-out to our winners: Arjun for Early Stage 1, Margaret for Stage 1, and Jasper for Stage 3. Well done to each of you!
We look forward to the Stage 2 final, which will be held next Wednesday. Stay tuned for more exciting speeches!
I am so excited to see our wonderful families this Saturday for the P&C fundraiser! The afternoon’s activities promise to be fun and exciting for everyone, and the outdoor cinema experience will be absolutely amazing under the stars.
Parents, best of luck as you bid on your child’s class artwork — it’s always a highlight of the event! A big thank you in advance to everyone involved in making this day possible. It takes a village, and we’re grateful for the incredible support from our community.
See you there.

Thank you - Gardening Bee Volunteers!
What a perfect Sunday it was — the sunshine truly turned it on for our Spring Gardening Bee.
We planted 50+ plants, transformed garden beds and planter boxes, and added a burst of spring vibrance and much-needed colour to the school gardens.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our GRPS community, we raised over $1,500 in donations — covering all the plants and gardening essentials. And, a huge thank you goes to all our wonderful volunteers — including the kids and our Principal — for rolling up their sleeves. A special shout-out to Aleesha for hosting the post-bee BBQ, the perfect way to wrap up such a productive day.
